[ it's beginning to be summer -- or something like that, sort of. late spring? the weather has been warming up is the point and in the twilight of, well, now, the fireflies have also come out.

twinkling little stars that are actually bugs. Rather, slightly larger than the normal firefly -- in fact, perhaps they seem more like will o' the wisp sized.

But still, a lovely summer. If you follow one they may lead you (crashing into) the path of someone else.

[Orga blocks what he can, strikes back here and there, but it's a losing battle now.

Okay, it was always going to be a losing battle, and that's obvious to him at this point. He's getting a bit foggy headed from taking so many hits.

[ any strike orga makes, ayer will let hit, it doesn't slow him down in the slightest. it would be over faster if he tried to take orga down, through him or knock him over, but he's not interested in that. he just wants to hit orga until he gives up, or can't stand. whatever comes first, really. which isn't to say he's prolonging it either, as many blows as he can ~~reach~~ are sent towards orga's face. cheek, chin, eyes, whatever. it's not exactly too sloppy but it's a little careless.

it's not like orga's a real challenge. ]

[It takes a hit that blacks Orga out for a few seconds to end this.

So that when he wakes up to that groggy mind cut through by bright sparks of all too familiar pain he's already on the ground, blinking up at the dark sky.]

I was just curious how you ended up there. I know a lot of strong guys, like you, but they fight on battle fields, not rings.

[ his jaw works, teeth grinding together progressively harder and harder before he speaks again ]

[Pauses to grin, abashed again, and rubs at the back of his neck before sighing and walking over to retrieve his shirt.]
