[ it's beginning to be summer -- or something like that, sort of. late spring? the weather has been warming up is the point and in the twilight of, well, now, the fireflies have also come out.

twinkling little stars that are actually bugs. Rather, slightly larger than the normal firefly -- in fact, perhaps they seem more like will o' the wisp sized.

But still, a lovely summer. If you follow one they may lead you (crashing into) the path of someone else.

[ There's a very large (200cm+ tall) man in a white and purple flight suit staring at the lake as he walks alongside it. He's opened the bag of cheetos and has tossed a couple pieces out into the water, feeding a couple of always-hungry ducks. Or fish. Whatever gets there first.

He doesn't look so good, but maybe that's just a trick of the light. ]

[well, she's not doing any running around herself, but anyone following the "fireflies" without watching where they're going might find themselves tripping over either this tiny girl or the filled-up tote bag by her side-- on second thought, maybe sitting jjjjust outside the reach of the nearest light source in order to see the wisps better wasn't the greatest idea.]
