[IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR. It's . . . well, time doesn't really work well here anyway, but it's been 'a while' since the last 'festive activities' so that's what's happening, right here, right now.

It's still warm enough for shorts and t-shirts, but there's also big fat snowflakes falling from the sunny sky, making piles of it that are pleasantly cool and don't seem to melt. Skating rinks! Palm trees and cacti decorated with pretty sparkly lights! Do we even have those? We do today.

Besides that, you can do whatever you want to, to get into the #mood:

Mistletoe? Mistletoe for kissing, for cuddling, for whatever?
Mysterious gifts with your name on them that turn out to be a long-lost item from your childhood?
Blankets that you get trapped under until someone joins you in there to cuddle?

[as she leads him over to and points at the sound system she built that's like... some weird frankenstein thing half out of Iron Man tech and half out of alien-looking scrap she got who knows where. it does however have a touch-screen built in that seems hooked up the Quiet Mounds network, just like... full internet access right in there. and there are other remote speakers that it's somehow casting to around the room. bluetooth ish for sure, just, she doesn't know proprietary names]

[going to check if his wi-fi can connect, when it does just throwing on some kanye]

Can you work with this?

No. It has to be running water, or something with a tide.

[but she shuts up when the music comes on, nodding along and then starting to move, hips and feet then arms. she definitely has rhythm and grace but she even dances like she might be one move away from launching into a fight.]

[grins at that, definitely wiping at the corner of his mouth, before starting to rock to the rhythm, getting closer to her]

[smiiiirks, dancing back, not really to keep away from him but just to move them out into the middle of the floor where they have more space. now that Thor has kindly gotten rid of the broken glass, it's actually a pretty great space to dance, because Valkyrie modified almost all her furniture into training pads that are along the walls and edges of the room. there's just one couch left. so there's tons of room.]

[following her, also absolutely that guy who switches halfway through a track to something different so . . . that's happening]

[dances up on him a little]

[does a few more flips on his phone, not changing the song before tossing it to the couch, hands up. okay, we good]

[good!! doing energetic physical things is Valkyrie's favourite, so dancing is right up there and it shows. she draws him back out into the middle of the floor, a confident smirk growing on her face as she moves to the music.]

[chuckling to himself a few times more but going with the flow, staying close to her and moving]

[what a brat!! she does go to swat him upside the head at that first remark, but not hard even if it connects, and she still seems relaxed and happy even if she's shaking her head at him.]

[hands going to her waist, though. keeping an eye on the enemy, ok ok]

[but she links her wrists behind his neck, look, no more smacking]
