[ Bamboo trees line the shore of the lake tonight, trailing papers from their branches. Each one is inscribed with a wish mysteriously left by...someone. Some of them are generic, like "world peace," and others are kind of weird and random, like, "fishes with candy scales."

But if you touch one, the text on it might turn into one of your wishes. Maybe it's something innocuous, but maybe it's one of your deepest secrets.

Well, maybe you don't go to the lake tonight. In any case, the stars are luminously bright overhead, and looking at them instills you with a strange sense of nostalgia... ]

[he looks over, clearly hunting for Vasily's]

Yes. Sometimes it's good to want things that might not happen.

[Vasily doesn't have one in his hands, and he's not looking at any one in particular]

I don't think that's foolish.

I don't necessarily think that foolish and inadvisable are mutually exclusive.

Maybe not. But big dreams are what drive us, right?

[raises both his eyebrows slowly]

I was definitely having a panic attack earlier but I guess I chilled out.

Oh, did something too good happen?

[he wrinkles his nose, nudging T'Challa with an elbow]

I got freaked out by the idea of wishes.

[he laughs softly, affectionate]

Did some come true?

No!

[reaches up and. squishes T'Challa's face in his hands. laughing helplessly, a little]

I'm not even—in that good a mood. But it's nice enough, I guess, to have people you care about to help you calm down when you make yourself upset. So I'm not upset anymore.

[he leans down, even, allowing the smush. he has a handsy little sister, being smacked around during a cute conversation is basically expected.]

Pity. I was hoping for some juicy gossip.
