[ it sure is convenient just getting a cell phone handed to you when you move in, right? modern technology is great. a bunch of you have probably made some attempt to learn how the thing works (if you didn't know already) and have made all sorts of friends you keep in touch with, so the sound of an incoming text message shouldn't be all that surprising... except a quick glance shows it's from a number you don't recognize at all. huh?!

as for the people who haven't bothered messing with it at all... well, sucks to be you! those of you in that category had better learn at least how to silence it, and fast. there are a lot of texts coming in, for some reason... ]

so it'd mostly depend on whether the manufacturer thinks vacuuming feathers is "improper use" or not

They were feathers on the carpet. It's not that different, in practice, from vacuuming up fur or hair is it?

it depends on what kind of feather? some of them can be pretty stiff and I can see that giving a vacuum trouble

It was mostly coverts, but there were some tertiaries.
