Other people might just be checking out some like. stores where you don't have to bleed to buy.

Yeah, I paid a pretty penny for it, too. It's hard to get stuff that's reliable without being a wet blanket on processing power. Took me months to get used to just feeling where everything is, let me tell you. Pretty keen aug, not as snazzy looking as the superjump modules, but probably a better investment if you wanna poke around under the hood for the first time.

I dunno if humans can get that stuff, though. Now that I think about it, are you even human? I can't even hear your heartbeat, and my hearing's usually really keen.

It's still pretty faint, so it's not great in a crowded place like this. But you're really quiet. Normally you hear way more from organics.

Yeah, well, I still don't know if somebody didn't just hack me and put me in some VR. That seems more likely than ghosts.

But the funny thing is, I'm not worried about that either.

Now you're on the trolley. An android. Of course I have organic and mechanical parts, but they were both made in factories.

Of course, some of the humans on venus clone themselves in big old tubs and aug themselves up, so I figure that makes them kinda robots too.
