If you leave something behind you can hardly claim it's yours any longer.

[One solid hit from Chuuya's body is one more than he can take. He pulls Rashoumon back, faster than this Dazai would know to give him credit for, and lashes the air between them so Dazai can experience first hand what it's like to hit no space at all.]

[and in fact... punching no space is. well. he's immediately going to be getting away from that shit, that's for sure.

this is really when Dazai's lack of fighting skill is going to show through, and this brain isn't fast enough to process battle strategy like he's used to, but. well. it's not like he can die here, really.]

Funny, he seems just fine with the arrangement we have now.

[dodging skills are being put to work. fortunately, being able to manipulate his own weight means he can make himself go faster--though there are several close calls that knick at his skin and clothes.

Chuuya's not going to be happy about that. and it's getting too close for comfort.]

[Akutagawa just stops responding at that point, because all he really needs to do here is stab the fuck out of this Dazai. He's relentlessly strong, going after him without pause, trying to drive him into a corner. Despite the occasional cough he doesn't see to be anywhere near needing to stop.]

Even borrowing someone else's power, it seems to be true.

[he just keeps retreating, not even seeming to mind losing ground. if anything, he seems to be... moving them out of the streets? and over toward the woods and lake.

it gets trickier when he starts to remove his gloves like he's seen Chuuya done countless times before. and a quick duck under a swipe gives him enough time to throw aside the hat--now that would be something Chuuya would kill him for, if it were damaged.]

You might want to call Chuuya for back up.

[he says it quite calmly. as if he's not completely losing this battle very obviously as the near misses start getting more obvious.]

[That makes AKutagawa hesitate. He pauses his onslaught, giving Dazai a measuring look.]

[he doesn't quite have enough of the corruption in effect to be able to prevent the attack, but he does manage to avoid the most of it.

unfortunately, "most" does not mean all and there sure is some weaponized cloth going through his right shoulder along with some other near-misses.

but that's fine.

he can barely feel it like this.

and it gives him a chance to let loose with knocking Akutagawa the fuck down with the force of gravity if he doesn't quickly realize his mistake, not even holding back.]

[It's a calculated risk, but Dazai still knocks the wind out of him, throwing all the wounds he received form Mori in sharp relief. He pushes himself up, pulling Rashoumon back. Curious as to what Dazai will try next. Akutagawa's anger aside, 'Corruption' is an ability only ever defeated by Dazai. If he can defeat it...]

because the corruptions spreads across his skin and that expression isn't even close to anything Akutagawa's seen Dazai sport, nevermind that it's occasionally a thing on Chuuya's--an unhinged smile on his lips and a lack of recognition or comprehension in his eyes.
