[The sun doesn't so much as rise as flick on with the sudden, glaring brightness of noon. Whatever time keeping device you have on you says its about 8:14am when this happens.

The power's back, but the time on your timekeeping device never really make sense with the position of the sun as it moves across the sky.]

[slowly breathing out, audibly in pain] Yes, thank you. I'm sensitive at the best of times and I had my eyes flooded to let as much light in as possible.

Ah... Similar to what my eyes do but more intense, I see. You're very sensitive.

There's a lot of species elements going into there—I'm what they call optic sensate, which means my optic pigmentation changes with mood and with my will—but I've got a sensory disorder. So that's a fun combination right now.

Sounds like quite the predicament. Would it be easier indoors?

[opens his eyes. The black pigment has drained from the whites, though his purple eyes are still dark rather than his usual pale lavender. His whites are super bloodshot though] Thank you.
