[The sun doesn't so much as rise as flick on with the sudden, glaring brightness of noon. Whatever time keeping device you have on you says its about 8:14am when this happens.

The power's back, but the time on your timekeeping device never really make sense with the position of the sun as it moves across the sky.]

All right. It should be safe.

[opens his eyes. The black pigment has drained from the whites, though his purple eyes are still dark rather than his usual pale lavender. His whites are super bloodshot though] Thank you.

[at first glance the apartment is pretty much just. un-lived in. a second glance basically confirms this. the bed is made! this is not a cat that makes beds.]
