It's very, very rare, and was only discovered about seventeen years ago. Also, supposedly they can die from old age. But otherwise, yes. Their body will repair any injury upon death.

So, individually, multiple people from your world and timeline, out of a supposedly infinite universe, just happened to also show up here?

That's right.

I can't tell if that means anything yet. Normally I'd think I was singled out because I uncloaked my energy dealing with that damn rich terrorist. The government noticed me because of that too, but they haven't done anything yet. So it's not like I wasn't keeping an eye out for something, but not... this.

There are a couple of others. But the majority don't, or that's what it seems like. You're the only one I've met with such a... high density? I guess. If you are all from around the same point in time, and you usually see each other anyway.

Alright, well, this was overall more illuminating than I expected. Here I just wanted to complain that you didn't warn me our boss has a face stapled to his face.

I thought you wanted to complain I hadn't warned you you'd find him attractive.

God, no. Him being attractive was only relevant in the degree that he embodies a trope that has no place in reality.

He really is sort of like a cartoon.

Did you notice his dress shirt is really long? Like, it's not his outside jacket, it's his shirt.

Where else would he get it? Do you think he can sew? That seems like a dangerous skill for a man with an uncertain number of faces.

I meant he's eccentric enough he might also just be considered weirdly dressed even in his own environment.

No, I got teleported to another dimension and I watched a non-zero amount of anime when I was a kid.

Also, anyone who's ever entered the work force and been sorted into cubicles exaggerates someone in the office to that type of caricature. Except he's actually real.
