And what is a "shikigami"?

Shikigami are gods and beings that live in the Imaginary World that can be summoned to help. Do the names Byakko, Suzaku, or Souryuu ring a bell?

They are Gate guardians, in my realm, with Genbu.

We cannot be summoned like simple familiars.

I have not met with them often.

Humans generally don't look kindly on gods walking in their midst, and I can't say I'm overly tolerant of them for very long either.
