[If anyone's looking for your resident drunken cowboy, he's hanging out by the farm on his break. He's perched up on a fence a decent distance away from the barn and the animals, lazily smoking a cigarillo.]

[ today is definitely a Work Day Afternoon, seeing as Kaiko has probably taken like two days off for personal emergencies in the past week.

(look, sometimes a friend gets really sick in the middle of your workplace and you have to get him home. sometimes the love of your short life comes back from the dead and you have to spend the next day trying to convince yourself that he isn't going to disappear the moment you look away. these things happen, is what I'm saying.)

however, lunch breaks are in fact gloriously a thing, and so Kaiko is spending hers in the park. she's working her way through what looks like one of Heavenly Grounds largest drink sizes and humming along with her phone, which is currently playing something twangy at what is hopefully a low enough volume not to disturb anyone nearby...?

alternately, maybe you've stopped in at the library before or after her break— or maybe you've spotted the little copper offering bowl sitting in the park and decided to investigate. ]

[showing up late this morning with a mug of tea, having been entirely absent for all of yesterday. he had at least posted a note that he was going to take a day off]

[he hasn't noticed McCree yet, humming absently to himself, in a good mood]

[dropping by the copper bowl on his way to work, dropping in a breakfast pastry]

[setting up one of market stalls at the farm today, a little later than usual. nobody who works there would have seen him on Day 7, though he at least had left a note saying he was taking the day off]

[coming to pick up some vegetables? or just bug Vanyel for gossip?]

[He catches sight of Van first, watching for a moment before he calls out.]

Well ain't you looking just about as happy as a pig in the mud.

[jumps, flustered, going pink]

[is hanging outside Heavenly Grounds a little later in the afternoon, drinking an iced latte and texting on his cellphone. he seems pretty open to conversation—glances up when people walk by. for some reason you might feel like it would be okay to take a seat—?]

she doesn't seem to be there today, even if there's still that vague air of import hanging around the bowl; that changes pretty quickly, though. a few moments after the pastry drops in there's that feeling of eyes on him, shortly followed by a soft electrical crackle as she pops into place sitting near the bowl. ]

[wandering by after his shift at the farm, sliding up next to him]

Hey there, good looking. What's a pretty face like yours doing all alone on a lovely day like this?

[out shopping for clothes on his day out, with limited success. he has a bag with a few things in it, but mostly you can find vincent wandering the mall staring warily at racks of edgy band t-shirts

if you get close enough he'll turn to you, open his mouth to ask a question, and then apparently rethink it]

[Passing through the park on his way back from his own lunch break. Spotting her, he pauses and waffles around for moment before deciding to approach. There's a modest-sized paper bag in his arms, its top folded over neatly.]

[crowley is lurking outside the VHS rental place with a tube of superglue and a handful of coins. demonic activity is afoot here]

[Saitama is in the park, doing some stretches in the mid afternoon]

[off shift! Sipping coffee.]

[Looking up from where he's seated in the grass]

[Standing up now, in his full ugly tracksuit glory]
