WHAT what you want
WHERE where you want
WHEN Day ""135""
[The rain has cleared, but it appears to have left some people with a case of the sniffles! The magic sniffles. Even if you've never been sick a day in your life, you might not find yourself immune. Then again, maybe you have a terrible immune system and you're fine. I'm not the magic sniffles police.
Symptoms May Include:
- runny nose
- sore throat
- fever
- thinking you're going to cough or sneeze but actually what comes out is A BURST OF THE TRUTH
- waking up in someone else's bed
- joint aches
At least the sketchy pop-up pharmacy at the mall has a special on tissues and nyquil?]

[ bland smile ]
Oh, I know. Isnt it wonderful how the magic of this place makes so little sense even to a mage?

I don't plan on giving up hope.

What are you holding out hope for?

Hope is a very strange, nebulous concept.

no subject
Heh. So it is.

It is particularly strange to have been here for so long, and to think that, despite not having ever thought so the past thousand years of my life.
Mm. I suppose that wouldn't make much sense to you.

Time is relative, after all, and dependent on your experiences within it.
no subject
Exactly so. It is also dependent, however, on where you are and the experiences of those around you. Asgardians live to be about five thousand, as Midgard counts time, but most here do not have that sort of lifespan. For that reason, the way people live, and thus, the way those of us who live longer--myself included--are experiencing things as you might.

Having an existential crisis, then, over and over, for an extended period of time.

I don't know how you manage it.
[ and he isn't even actually mortal ]

We find comfort in the company of others.

[ still different ]
There's a mortal saying about misery and company. I find it...quite appropriate.

I wouldn't know.

Would your brother agree?
no subject
I am not my brother. I wouldn't speak for him.

I am everything Thor will not allow himself to be.

Thor is still growing into himself, but he will make a brilliant king.
[ all that pride in your voice about your dad? yeah he's got that about Thor ]
