[The rain has cleared, but it appears to have left some people with a case of the sniffles! The magic sniffles. Even if you've never been sick a day in your life, you might not find yourself immune. Then again, maybe you have a terrible immune system and you're fine. I'm not the magic sniffles police.

- thinking you're going to cough or sneeze but actually what comes out is A BURST OF THE TRUTH
- waking up in someone else's bed
- joint aches

[Brunnhilde's room is a disaster zone, clothes and bottles and random gear everywhere. the only thing kept nicely is an armour rack with. armour. on it.]

[jerking her head slightly to indicate the skeleton friend]

[ climbing onto the bed and looking around the room with... exhaustion... kicking a bottle off the blanket. ]

That's-- uh. That's Bird. He's a familiar, sort of. My construct.

[by some miracle the sheets are clean at least. probably Thor did it.]

[ Bird stares eyelessly at her, before coming over to sit near her side with its tail coiled neatly around itself. it's a bit cracked and missing bits in places...

shura flops back down, sinking into the sheets ]

[leans back against the headboard, absently stroking Shura's hair. she's wearing an oversized T-shirt ftr]

shura's wearing a long tunic-like shirt, sleeveless, and leggings, and her hair's all braided back. ]

[just glossing her hand lightly over the crown of shura's head, shhh shh]

[ lazily drapes her arm over her legs]

[makes a face like she's gonna sneeze, turning her head aside, but instead of a sneeze what comes out is]

Then she props herself up a little, frowning ]

[ frozen for a moment before hastily sitting up, get voice a bit panicked ]

[ she looks. A bit confused? But she settles after a moment, rubbing her face. ]

Sorry... sorry. I... um. Do you... want no dreams? I can try to help you.

[ the magic seeps in, bone-deep, kind of... wrong-feeling? but only briefly. it settles into soft waves of deep, deep calm, centered somewhere at the back of her skull like a passing thought and coursing under her skin like a pleasant shiver.

[tenses a bit, then... oh. oh okay. yeah that's the good stuff. she snuggles down into the covers, making a lazy attempt to pull Shura with her.]
