[So, you've been messing around with time.]

[Okay, we've actually been doing that, yeah. Quiet Mounds is still a bit unpredictable, with the seasons and the clocks a little haywire. Today, there's another little pulse of magic. Maybe some of you find yourself back to normal? Or maybe more people are suddenly the wrong age or timeline. Maybe Deadpool shows up. I don't know.]

Well - yeah, I guess that too. But I can't even picture having that much workspace period, much less running it.

I know my position is fairly unique. I guess I'm going to have to get used to building my way up while I'm here.

[ It's pretty much empty man. And he lost like half of his extra spider legs at some point during the fight. Plus the sensors are wrecked, the AI functionality is busted ... Definitely in need of some TLC.

Meanwhile Peter is still basically just freakin awed. At all of it, really. The only workshop he ever had was his desk. ]

Least there's room here. I bet you could take over part of the mall or something. And Mr. Stark's been here forever, so he could at least tell you what kind of building stays and what doesn't.

I was thinking of just converting my whole apartment... I'll certainly ask him, though.

[sort of, pets the suit absently while she's assessing it. poor suit. there there.]

[ Aww. Peter can't help but smile a little at the gesture. ]

Actually - we could probably convert mine too, if you want. I'm living with Mr. Stark right now. And I might have taken some of his junk he was throwing out even when he specifically told me not to?

Exactly! And I know Mr. Stark was making room for me, but how can you just throw that stuff out?

I'm sure we can make something great with it.

Man, I do not doubt that at all. If you're running an entire lab in Wakanda with - vibranium and stuff...

[ That - makes him pause. On the one hand, hell yes he wants his suit back. On the other hand ... He touches one of the more busted parts of it. And brushes off the slightest layer of dust. ]

You think you can do it? With the stuff we have here?

[ Not doubting that she can, of course. ]

We'll have to get creative... but if Mr. Stark has been able to build a lab like this with what he's found, I'm sure I can get it going eventually.

Then yeah. That'd be beyond amazing.

[ And maybe by the time she's done he'll be ready to put it back on. ]

Thanos tossed me against a rock while we were trying to get the gauntlet off. See, it just kind of scraped a whole section off.

[ He traces the matching section across his back and side; it's about six inches long and a couple inches wide. ]

You fought him, off-planet...?

[presumably Bruce filled everybody in on... people going to space... but it's not like she has any way of knowing what happened up there. she's a little hushed, suddenly.]

[ Peter nods slowly. This is the first time he's talked about Titan to anyone with any detail. ]

Yeah. I stowed away on one of those giant spaceships that started invading New York again. Mr. Stark tried to get me to go home, but I wanted to do something.

[ Peter nods. ]

[she gives him an understanding look, quiet for a moment before she asks, going for a more normal tone again:]

Trying to get the gauntlet sounds like a good strategy. Was it just the two of you? No, Dr. Strange, too, right...?

No, we had the doctor. Also a bunch of the Guardians too. Uh... Starlord and Draxx and Mantis, I think?

Yeah, exactly. I'd never heard of them before, but I guess they're like the Avengers but in space. And kind of ... weird?
