WHEN day 96 -- where did 95 go? we aren't sure, don't worry about it

[It's a chilly day but the snow has melted at least, the park is sort of muddy and unappealing as a result and yet--

there are many picnic blanket, like clean checked oases, and each one has a sizeable and promising picnic basket directly in the middle.

Inside the basket you will find Two Delicious Sandwiches, a thermos of (slightly spiked) hot chocolate, bags of chips, potato salad (the mayo kind), an alarming number of cookies, and

a pamphlet on how to make friends that some might find familiar.


The problem is, you can't leave your picnic blanket once you have entered it, unless you have made a friend, even if you entered it alone, better entice someone over to come learn to be your friend or you might be there for a while!

Suggestions on how to make friends include: sharing a secret, talking about your life, talking about your concerns, making plans for the future together, blood pacts, et cetera.]
