[ You were minding your own business when you hear a snap-click, like the handcuff sound in movies. Or you suddenly feel a soft collar slide around your throat. Wow, is this a dog collar? Anyway, possibly even more worrisome than that is that you're handcuffed to someone else OR someone else seems to have the other end of a leash attached to your collar in their hand. You are STUCK handcuffed to someone or leashed and collared (or. holding a leash, unable to let go) unless you complete a task. You just know which task because psychic messages are also part of QM life.

Yet somehow he also works at the clinic.

I mean, comparatively, he makes your bedside manner look hella nurturing.

I guess hiring him to make me look better makes a kind of sense.

...he did a good job on the wound, anyway. Clean, straight in and out, didn't hit bone or artery.

Right, I kind of suspected he would do a better stab than me. Solid 3 out of 10.

Yeah. I was trying to keep it casual but he was kind if a dick about it for no reason.

I think he's a dick about most things for the reason of being an actual dick.
