How long do you think this snow's going to last?

Don't know. I wound up shoveling the walk for Tony earlier. Might have to go back and redo it if the snow picks up again.

Just as a favor for a friend, or...?

I figured it'd help everyone, being able to find a way to a place that's got food and shelter.

[she sighs slowly, breathing in the steam of the coffee and watching his face]

You think so? You have new friends, pal. They've had a lot more time around you in the last few years than I have.

Save for Natasha and Sam I haven't exactly spent too much of my off time with them, and I didn't even really get to know those two until I found you again.

I spent a lot of those years just doing what it takes to keep the world safe.

You know... there was probably time to do both.

I think in a lot of ways I was still trying to fit in.

I can understand that.

But you had those two. The other Avengers. That's something.

I did. But, you know, a couple of years working together doesn't cover as much ground as growing up together.
