[smiles at him. Speaking softly] I'll be all right. This isn't so bad. They're just oversensitive.

No, just a little time and rest. A bit of company wouldn't be amiss, but I don't want to make you feel like you have to stay if you don't want to.

[ definitely hesitates. he could hardly be in his own apartment for long without feeling out of place and here he was in someone else's.
