which is to say, the entire town is darkly overcast and gloomy, and starting in the morning, there are scattered showers intermittently around the town. it's light enough that it isn't bothersome, barely noticeable, really, but you may find yourself feeling a bit different after you've past through one. like it's taken a few years off your life— quite literally.

Yes, something like. Sometimes they visit the gardens at the Academy and the teachers try to scare them off so they don't get the birds.
