I wouldn't go quite as far as testing it on myself. But a willing guinea pig... You think those types really exist here?
no subject
Sure.
I don't have anyone specifically in mind, but I don't actually meet new people that often.
I guess if I wanted to find someone I would ask what people know about the process and gauge how comfortable they feel about it from there. Pretty much what you're doing with me right now. You just struck out this time, but you probably got further than you expected. Just find someone who has less attachment to not being a science project than I do.

[ or i can blackmail dazai into it HMMMMMM ]
I'll see what I can do. It'd have to be a method that wouldn't make too much of a mess.

Poison is the most obvious option I guess. Especially if it's introduced to the blood so it's harder to stop. [MAKES SOME SUGGESTIONS OF EASILY OBTAINABLE SHIT THAT WILL DEFINITELY KILL YOU IF IT GETS INTO YOU BLOOD BUT NOT IMMEDIATELY KIND OF LIKE HE'S DONE THIS BEFORE.]
[/kei would be more specific about this but aviy doesn't have time to do proper research and decides to not hold the thread up for two days]

he's also giving Kei the same kind of reassessing look Kei had been giving him before, like he's adjusting his view. ]
You know quote a lot about this, Kaito-kun. Is it from your schooling...?
no subject
Wait, didn't it already...]
My work, actually.

I worked as the assistant to the head of a division of the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare that focused on researching demi-humans.
no subject
Government, then...? What did this research entail - - the sort of things you were just describing?
no subject
Demi-humans can't die and don't have any laws to protect them, so we tested the extent of that ability.

I noticed. It's a little uncanny.

...are people with supernatural abilities where you're from considered human?

Other countries have different laws. Japan is just particularly... comfortable with treating them like monsters.

But if you're actually asking if demi-humans did something to earn the fear, no. Not at that time.
