I don't have anyone specifically in mind, but I don't actually meet new people that often.

I guess if I wanted to find someone I would ask what people know about the process and gauge how comfortable they feel about it from there. Pretty much what you're doing with me right now. You just struck out this time, but you probably got further than you expected. Just find someone who has less attachment to not being a science project than I do.

I knew a variety of abnormal humans at home, myself, but very few that would willingly the become a science experiment. Well... I might have better luck here still.

They're "gifted", or "special ability users". There's a permit involved to function as a business with them involved, but by the letter they'd be protected from experimentation.

Demi-humans are a recent discovery and in Japan arent considered human. Any discovered immediately become the property of the government, but they are incredibly rare.

Other countries have different laws. Japan is just particularly... comfortable with treating them like monsters.

Not very. They're still a minority.
