[The rain has cleared, but it appears to have left some people with a case of the sniffles! The magic sniffles. Even if you've never been sick a day in your life, you might not find yourself immune. Then again, maybe you have a terrible immune system and you're fine. I'm not the magic sniffles police.

Symptoms May Include:

- runny nose
- sore throat
- fever
- thinking you're going to cough or sneeze but actually what comes out is A BURST OF THE TRUTH
- waking up in someone else's bed
- joint aches

At least the sketchy pop-up pharmacy at the mall has a special on tissues and nyquil?]

[ He was already not doing Great with the rain combined with still pushing himself daily (some people just don't know when to quit tbh) but with this magic sniffles on top of all of that... he's a disaster, basically.

And you've probably just got home and found a portal swirling between the bed and a wall, Stephen on said bed knocked out cold, and a magic cloak floating behind shaking its collar at you.

It's supposed to be a "I told him so" but I mean.

[ It really was not where he was aiming for... sorry Shuri. The portal is still fizzing around and she'll be able to see right through to the park - not even the street - where he'd been about 10/15 minutes before he tried to go home.

The cloak does a kind of shrug motion, before pointing its corner at him.

He just makes a soft groaning noise as his head hurts too much to move just yet. ]

[scooting out of bed and draping a blanket over him]

[ He's probably half hanging off weirdly anyway, considering he walked and flopped face down.

The weird thing is that the shift of a blanket falling over his back makes him groan again, but this time there's a hint of a name under the surface of it that sounds suspicious like that name "Christine".

[ Oh no... have fun with all those straps and laces tbh.

Wait-- [ It feels like it hurts a lot to open his eyes but he does it now and peeks to where she's standing, his boots now apparently off and somewhere else. ]

...You're... [ Obviously he knows who she is but his thoughts get distracted to the room and he's already trying to push himself up to get off the bed.

[ Considering he was burned out before magic sniffles she probably flattens him back down really quickly. In fact, his only response if a surprised noise of protest followed by a groan as the effort makes his head spin too much. ]

[spreads the blanket back over him]

[ It comes out muffled though, with how he's laid on his front. ]

That wasn't even a little bit convincing.

[ A groan is all she gets in response, as if to say "yes". ]

[ Snorts... which is a mistake as this time he does have to shakily reach for the tissues this time and kind of half roll to do this properly. ]

[ Except as soon as she walks off he's trying to roll back off the bed to head back to the portal so he can try again--sadly he's weaker than he thinks and just falls onto the floor. ]

[she comes back when she hears the thud]

Do I need to sedate you?

[ He half laughs, half gives a pathetic sniffle at that. ]
