[ anyway the rivers are dried up, hoorah. there might be some fish in weird places as a result but whatever!

Today QM is at it again, there might be a 'ding' and then a small text bubble (like an apple message bubble) with an opinion about you. It might be "5/5 stars, would date again" or it could be like "Can you believe that Joe wears socks with his sandals?" it could even be a laundry list of everything wrong you may have ever done.

The brightside is that they don't last for long. The down side is, well, they show up at all....]

[ There's a beautiful woman with a pipe in her fingers trying very hard not to appear completely confused and. All of that.

What does that even mean?

[With the rivers gone, Bucky figures its time to take Trouble out for a game of fetch. The pitbull puppy hasn't caught the stick a single time, but she chases after it with plenty of enthusiasm and brings it back most of the time even if there's a little tug of war trying to take it from her.

There's a ding, and a helpful bubble pops up: perfect time for a meet-cute]

[cupping his hands around his mouth and calling out]

Trouble~~!!

[apparently playing fetch is less interesting than saying hi to friends. as soon as Vasily calls her, the puppy is tripping over herself to get to him.

she brings the stick with her]

Traitor.

[to the dog]

[laughing, crouching down]

I'm just something new and exciting.

Not that new.

[but apparently exciting. Trouble rolls over on her back and wiggles, begging for belly rubs]

Still very exciting!

Looks like. [mildly, with a little bit of a smile] Think she gets a little bored of me and Steve.

[ding, reps goku]

[and he glances up from his workout at the gym to check that, then gives a half-hearted shrug]

We can have another movie night sometime soon?

I wouldn't say no to it. Steve's been dropping hints he wants one.

[he laughs]

He really wants his loved ones in one place.

[ps Vasily is definitely wearing a new ring today]

[noticing that; she's not sure yet if she should acknowledge it after their last conversation]

He's dropped hints about that too.

Mm, yes, very subtle with hints, our Steve.

[more to the point, if you haven't seen Vasily's hands before, they are a fucking mess of scarring. not like Bucky would mention that either]

[she hasn't, but she wouldn't. it's not like it's the first time she's seen scarring. she's got more than her fair share of scars herself]

Poor Steve? We're the ones who have to put up with him.

Back when we were young, not a whole lot of people noticed Steve. Then suddenly he gets taller, and everyone can see him.

[she had feelings about that back then; she still does.

she kneels down to pet Trouble too, ruffling the dog's floppy ears]

I can see that. He still seems surprised sometimes . . . I mean, it's caused some of—what he is now. Shadows of that, I mean.

When we got younger for a bit—I was completely besotted with him even then.

Not that I get a say in anything or anyone's looking for my approval... so what I'm saying is I'm glad to see that.

[because Steve deserves people in his life who get how great he is even when he doesn't look like a t-bone steak
