[yet another lovely winter day! the air is nice and crisp, and the sky is a bright, deep blue! whatever plays the role of the sun seems to want to stay out longer and it's just so nice, might as well take a walk and deal with reindeer as they come for more treats, right?

though some may notice there are some... very terribly suspicious blood stains at the opening of an alleyway somewhere. like. a LOT of blood. maybe some brain matter? that can't be good...

[in other news, so a Certain Someone missed another night at work like he did that one time a while ago without any warning--though i mean, he's prone to disappearing during shifts at random but y'know whatever? he turns up eventually anyway. right?

so he carefully. shuffles himself. out from under the blankets. it's a bit hard because well. the lot of bandages wrapped around his head--some of them going under his jaw even to keep it mmmmostly still but usable. no signs of damage at all, really, except for how new some of the flesh seems...--it all gives away just how bad this time was.

at least he has both eyes still? even if he looks utterly miserable.]
