WHEN Sundown Day 28
[You have a package. It may be at your door, or your tent flap, or your place of work. Whatever.
On it you will find sparkling paper inviting you in sparkling script to a fête on the lake starting at sundown sharp. Included is a mask of some color, and fancy attire that appeals most to whoever roleplays you on the internet.
Should you head to the lake you will find a wooden platform floating gently on the surface, painted a brilliant white, glittered down with silver confetti that will be killing the fish for days, and lit by strings of white fairy lights. There are tables of various h'oeuvres, and NPCs happy to bring you something from their wine selection.
There's a stage with NPC musicians who will happily step aside for PC musicians.

[Though there is no IC WARNING of this it will become immediately obvious that A) you must put on the mask to be permitted to enter the party and B) once you put on the mask no one can tell who you are (until they guess/you reveal yourself) ! Weird.
There is an Anon Journal set up for this purpose, if you want to OOCly be anon as well! But if you don't want that you are free to use your own journals. Whether or not your characters will find their masks affixed to their face once they put it on or if they can whip it off as soon as they get into the party is also up to you.
Masks come in different colors and each color has a different status effect. How strong or weak the effect is up to you. They are:
White / No effect/Choose your own
Black / Dishonest
Gold / Honest
Blue / Affectionate
Purple / Flirtatious
Red / Aggressive
Green / Confident
Pink / Inquisitive
